Mommy and Baby Yoga

mandchild.jpgDo you have a little one?

Are you feeling a little fatigued, stressed, or even feeling like parts of your body don’t belong to you? These are only some of the symptoms I myself was experiencing and of course what affects us as parents will most definitely affect our children.

I would like to recommend “Mommy and Baby” yoga classes. I started attending my first classes at the Lululemon store in Pasadena, Ca, where they offered free classes for anyone who was interested.

My son, Zariyan, at the time was 5 1/2 months old at the time. I wish I had known that I could have brought him to classes at an earlier age. I have since learned that children as young as one month old can be brought to these classes.

Some mothers kept their children in their strollers, or bassinets. Some had them lying on a blanket beside them. It is such a wonderful time to share life experiences with other mothers as we are all so understanding of each others situations.

Lululemon gave us a wonderful opportunity to experience different teachers from different Yoga Studios as well as a variety of different forms of Yoga.

In Los Angeles, California, many studios only offer Mommy and Baby Yoga once a week. I will make an attempt to experience as many forms as possible and share our experiences with you.
