The Cost of Not Doing Yoga

At different times in my life, I’ve had to live on very little income, and often questioned my decision to purchase a yoga class or a yoga video or new yoga mat, thinking it a luxury. Then I would look at the cost of health insurance and medical costs and know that the “return” on the cost of that yoga class or yoga equipment was far better.

It difficult to put a price on health. But we all know how life can come to a screeching halt when we don’t have our health.

Although preventive health measure such as nutritional eating and exercise have become more supported by physicians and insurance companies in recent decades, many times we cannot see the immediate results from such activities as a regular yoga practice.
