Details of Study:
164 sedentary women participated in a study at Pennsylvania State University that included regular walking and yoga sessions for half the this group for four months. All women had previously reported pre-menopausal and menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats. Women doing yoga and walking described “higher levels of general happiness” than those who remained sedentary, including feelings of better emotional and sexual health.
