Relief for My Sleep Apnea?
Okay, so following up on my newest experience with “Neti Wash Plus,” after a whole week of using this, I am thrilled with the results.
I have consistently used it every evening during my shower, right before I retire. I’ve also occasionally used it in the morning when my sinuses have been extremely irritated by the early morning dust and pollens.
The feeling of fresh clear breaths through BOTH nasal passages has been such a blessing to my life. Not only that, but it’s also been a huge bonus to my sleeping pattern.
Remember I mentioned that I have dealt with Sleep Apnea for many years? Six years ago, I was thoroughly examined and tested by an ear, nose, and throat specialist. He could not come to any conclusions as to why a person of my size (110 pounds, 5 feet 6 inches) and slim build would have such issues. There were some suggestions of laser surgery to cauterize areas of my nasal passages, etc. but of course I did not choose to take those routes.
Instead, I changed parts of my diet, which helped a little. As for exercise, I was already power walking four to six miles a day and, at that time, attending daily yoga classes. I was able to strengthen my body enough to support this issue so that I could live with it.
Well, this past week I have most definitely felt a shift. Slowly but surely, my sleep has felt much more solid. Deeper. I don’t wake up five or six times a night. I’m not as restless. Could it be the “Neti Wash Plus,” I ask myself?
Could this truly be helping my Sleep Apnea?
It’s only been one whole week, but I am feeling great and will continue to track the progress.
