Re-starting Your Yoga Practice
I am amazed at how quickly I regained my strength and stamina after a winter of low activity. I notice it carrying my suitcase up and down stairs at the airport terminal. I’ve acquired an ease in my movements, no strain. So it is possible, no matter how long ago it’s been for you, and it will be noticeably different- fast.
I used to notice the student’s actual body shape changing after a steady practice of about 3 months. And I’m not just talking about some weight loss, which will naturally happen, but actual muscle tone, strength and flexibility.
These are indications of a healthy body,one that is prepared to handle daily stress, with a strong immune system and energy moving. It’s all possible with a regular yoga practice.
