Celebrities Design Yoga Bags for Charity

In May 2008, noted celebrities donated their time and creativity to designing yoga bags for the Libby Ross Foundation OM Yoga Program. Mother-and-daughter teams included Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri, and Trish and daughter Miley Cyrus. Additional guest designers included Courteney Cox Arquette, Lisa Rinna, and Hayden Panettiere, among others.

Each celebrity was given a yoga bag that they added their own personal touches to, using jewels generously donated by Swarovski. The bags were then placed on EBay for auction as part of a fund raising event for the Libby Ross Foundation.

The foundation, whose goal is to bring awareness and support to woman battling breast cancer, joined with the Om Yoga program to “promote healing and a sense of well being for breast cancer survivors.” Their partnership with Om Yoga provides free weekly yoga classes, retreats and workshops.
