Asking Why, Looking for Answers

Anatara Buckley

There is something in each of us that makes us ask “why?

We ask “why am I here?
We ask “what do I need to do about my life? My relationship? My career?
We ask “what should I do next?

We are often quite unsettled or unhappy with many things in our lives…

I frequently wonder why this is so?

In my practice as an intuitive and a counsellor, almost all of my clients are asking ‘why’ about something. There is a deep desire to understand the reasons behind the events that we find ourselves in. There is usually an underlying feeling that if we understood something more deeply, then we would know how to proceed with greater effectiveness, harmony, acceptance and success.

As people, it often feels as if we are missing something important. Or it feels that the main key to our growth as an individual is a mystery, and is in some way hidden to us.

I take the quest for this understanding very seriously.
I understand what it feels like to be searching for the one thing that we feel would help us the most, if we only knew what it was! We fervently wish that there was some way that we could figure it out.

In my experience, most of the time you actually do know what the illusive answer is.
Most of the time you have a sense or a feeling that leads directly to that hidden answer…

It is the quest for the answer that has you ask “why?”.

As an intuitive guide, when working with a client, I encourage them to always dive into one of these “why’s”. When you are asking a question about anything at all, it usually leads right into the heart of one of your biggest and deepest searches…the questions that are inherent in your consciousness usually lead right into a discovery of the essence of your being.

There is a lot to be said about the benefit of asking “why”. Used as a friendly tool, asking “why” becomes a bridge between the known and the unknown. It is not always the answer that will create or show us where the balance is for us…sometimes the query is all that is required to solve the mystery.

In the pages of my website, I will show you how to open yourself to the search for the answers we all seek, and discuss the reasons why this is so important to us…

Thanks for being here,
Many Blessings,
Anatara

    1. Oh, I enjoyed this! I think that sometimes, we also need to give ourselves permission to stop asking why sometimes and just engage in our present moment.

    2. Anatara says:

Feeling that we have permission to let everything ‘be’ is the ultimate expression of easy and peaceful living… the ‘whys’ become less important as we move smoothly from one moment to the next.

And, we can also use our ‘whys’ to show us the places within our thoughts and emotions that want attention. These places, seen through the lens of deep acceptance and Love, can shift for us. Releasing us into peace and deep nourishing moments.

Step by step, this is where we are headed!
