Yoga Class Energy
Doing yoga in a class setting requires an ability to both enjoy the group energy (laughing together, encouraging each other) and enjoy being alone (close your eyes, place your yoga mat with enough space around you).
At home you may be more improvisational in your sequences but in a group it’s important to honor the rhythm set by the yoga instructor’s sequence.
So when you decide to join a group yoga class, or community if you are attending regularly, know that this too is part of your practice. By being with other yoga practitioners you are strengthening your own commitment to doing your yoga practice and reminding others of the importance of their own presence.
