Read all about it! Jennifer Brilliant, a New York yoga teacher with nearly 20 years' experience in athletic, therapeutic and creative movement, and William Berloni, an animal consultant who is widely recognized as an expert in animal behavior, joined forces to co-author the book "Doga: Yoga for Dogs". The book is a fun and informative, step-by-step photo instructional guide on introducing your canine friend to yoga. The authors reassure us that, "the dogs in this book, and dogs in general, do these positions naturally. Follow the principles of yoga, let your dog do what comes naturally, and enjoy what you can learn from observing."
Maybe the next time you roll out your mat, you just might want to invite your dog to share insights on a few doga poses – but just watch out for the drool!

YogaHub's Latest Addition: The eKO Mat
Manduka's eKO Lite yoga mats are half the price. These mats are wonderful for those of you who don't need the thickness and find the seven-pound weight of the regular eKO Rubber mats a little too much to carry to and from class.
One great suggestion is to lay the eKO Lite on top of a mat already supplied by a studio, so that you still get enough cushion and yet also have the value of personal hygiene.
