Journey into the World Series of Poker
Part 1: My Big Yoga-Poker Plan
Earlier this year, I announced to friends that I was planning to live a dream by playing in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. This tournament is one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world and the best poker players from all over the world flock to Las Vegas in an attempt to claim a coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
Before embarking on my dream journey, however, I needed to find sponsorship. And that’s where YogaHub.com generously came to my rescue by offering to be one of my sponsors. They provided me with great YogaHub paraphernalia, including a T-shirt, a card protector, and a micro-fiber yoga towel. If I was going to be on television, what better way was there to promote and advertise YogaHub and its great products!
Once I had my sponsorship organized, I left for Las Vegas, arriving early on Tuesday morning. I decided to head directly to the Rio Casino and Hotel to register for the day’s poker tournament. The tournament that I was to play in was called “Pot Limit Omaha High Low” and it would start at noon. (For more information on “Omaha High Low”, check out the box.) The tournament itself would last for three days. The buy-in was a whopping $1,500, so I was fortunate that several investors, including YogaHub, were prepared to sponsor me.
After I had registered, I went for a late-night dinner at the Cal and then decided to head back to my hotel in downtown Vegas to get a good night’s sleep so that I would be refreshed and ready to play the next day.
Stay tuned for the next installment of my YogaHub journey into the exciting world of poker!
