Thank you for your comment.

How long have you been practicing Jala Neti?

I have lived most of my life with nasal congestion until these recent months. I have now been doing this practice of nasal cleansing for almost a year. In the beginning I would take week long breaks, but then resume because I could feel my sinus issues return.

You may want to consider the "Neti Wash Plus". I really do find it has taken the cleansing to another level as I have not had nasal congestion this past month as well my sleep apnea issues have subsided further (you can read in my latest blog).
I also use Sea Salt from Kona, just a few granules as this is very powerful healing salts that the Hawaiian Healers use. I say just a few granules because it is very intense. I do combine it with the Neti Wash Plus.

Through the years I also changed my diet. I used to love desserts, not candies, but good desserts and ice cream. Once I began to cut these down, I noticed that it helped to shift my sinus, lung and skin issues. Of course in Holistic medicine these areas are all related.

I now continue to practice while I travel with a plastic pot. If I have to practice this for the rest of my life I am happy to do so. It just feels so amazing to be able to breathe like I am now!

I hope this helps.

Nice report. I'm especially curious about the effects of long periods doing jala neti -- and I consider doing it the rest of my life.

I've been doing it almost daily (I just don't do it when I have to travel) for the last three months. Sometimes I feel like my chronic nasal congestion will last forever, no matter how often I do jala neti or how I change it (temperature, salt etc.) to stop congestion.

Any tip?

Thanks for the post.
Best regards.
